The NETGEAR ProSAFE M4300-12X12F is a managed L2/L3 switch with 12 x 10GBASE-T RJ45 ports and 12 x SFP+ slots, designed for high-bandwidth enterprise and data centre network segmentation. The unit offers 24 ports capable of 10-Gigabit speeds, split equally between copper 10GBASE-T RJ-45 and SFP+ fibre optic interfaces. Operating at both Layer 2 and Layer 3, the switch manages high-traffic environments to avoid processing bottlenecks. With a total switching capacity of 480 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 357 Mpps, this non-PoE system sustains simultaneous data transfers across all ports, functioning as an access or aggregation layer device.
