Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X SFP - Router, Black

The Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X SFP is a Gigabit router for managing local network traffic. It features five Gigabit Ethernet ports to connect computers and access points, as well as a dedicated 1 Gbps SFP slot for fibre-optic uplinks. Integrated 24V passive Power over Ethernet (PoE) allows five ports to provide a combined power budget of 50 W, enabling connected devices to draw power directly through their data cables. Configuration is managed via a software interface to define routing parameters.

The device is housed in a black, desktop-sized chassis measuring 142 x 75 x 23 mm, designed to fit into compact IT enclosures. It can also be wall-mounted to help organise cabling. Internally, the router uses an 880 MHz processor and 256 MB of DDR3 RAM. As the unit is fanless, it operates silently in quiet work environments. Front-facing LED indicators provide status updates for the system, active PoE output, and link activity. A recessed reset button allows for a quick return to factory settings.
