The Ubiquiti UniFi Switch 8 60W (US-8-60W) is a Layer 2 managed switch with eight Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports for expanding wired local area networks. It provides a switching capacity of 16 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 11.9 Mpps. Designed for environments requiring both data and power, the switch supports endpoints such as IP cameras and wireless access points.

The steel chassis is suitable for both desktop and wall mounting, allowing for installation in space-constrained areas. Four of the ports supply IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet, delivering up to 15.4 W per port. The total PoE budget of 60 W is shared across these interfaces. Administrators can configure the switch via a web interface to manage traffic, including settings for Quality of Service (QoS) prioritisation and IGMP snooping for multicast traffic.
