This construction provides an IP68 rating for resistance to dust and water ingress. Data transfer is managed through a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, which supports transfer rates up to 5 Gbit/s and is backward compatible with USB 2.0. The drive incorporates a shock sensor that automatically pauses drive activity when it detects an impact, resuming operation once the shock has passed to help prevent data errors.
