This focused design incorporates an enlarged nickel-plated copper contact base necessary for efficient heat transfer across the surface area of Threadripper and Epyc integrated heat spreaders. The cooler employs six internal heat pipes paired with aluminum cooling fins, ensuring substantial thermal capacity for managing high core count applications. The overall structure is optimized for clearance with surrounding components, particularly PCIe slots, depending on system orientation.

Thermal regulation is handled by the included 140 mm NF-A15 PWM fan, featuring SSO2 bearing technology. This unit operates across a rotational speed range of 300 RPM minimum up to 1500 RPM maximum. At its highest setting, the fan provides an airflow performance of 140.2 m³/h while maintaining a maximum noise level of 24.6 dB. The cooler utilizes the SecuFirm2 mounting system tailored for the supported platforms, ensuring reliable pressure and secure installation.
