The Shadow Rock LP is an ultra-compact, low-profile CPU cooling solution designed specifically for chassis environments where vertical clearance is limited, such as HTPCs and Small Form Factor (SFF) builds. Standing at 75.4 mm high, this cooler minimizes encroachment on case side panels and internal components. Heat transfer is managed by a copper baseplate connecting to four high-performance 6 mm copper heat pipes. This configuration facilitates rapid thermal transfer to a dense array of aluminum fins, allowing the unit to efficiently handle processors up to a 130 W Thermal Design Power (TDP).

Cooling air is provided by a 120 mm fan employing a rifle bearing for consistent longevity and minimal noise production. The fan operates under Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control, dynamically adjusting speed up to a maximum of 1500 RPM based on the thermal requirements of the processor. Acoustic output remains restricted, registering a maximum noise level of 25.5 dB at full operating speed. The mounting system provides broad platform compatibility, supporting current mainstream sockets including Intel LGA 1700 and AMD AM5.
