The Ubiquiti NanoSwitch (N-SW) is an unmanaged, plug-and-play, 4-port Gigabit PoE passthrough switch designed for outdoor use. It requires no software configuration and acts as a weather-resistant hub for network equipment. The unit provides four Gigabit Ethernet ports, each supporting 24V passive Power over Ethernet (PoE) passthrough. An external PoE adapter is required to supply both data and power to the switch. The system has a total PoE budget of 36 W, allowing it to deliver power and network signals to connected outdoor equipment via a single cable.

The switch is housed in a white polycarbonate, weather-resistant enclosure. It measures 196.4 x 93.5 x 32.4 mm and weighs 269 g, making it suitable for compact installations. LED indicators show connection speed, link status, and network activity. The internal hardware consumes a maximum of 30 W, and the switch features a 4 Gbit/s total switching capacity.
