The OWC miniStack is an external storage solution that provides 2.0TB of capacity within a compact, stackable enclosure. Its aluminum chassis is designed with a footprint identical to Mac mini models from 2010 and later, creating an integrated desktop setup. The device houses a 3.5-inch, 7,200 RPM hard drive intended for general data storage, archives, and system backups. Connectivity is handled through a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gb/s) port, which provides a direct link to the host computer.

This drive delivers sustained data transfer speeds up to 208 MB/s for both read and write functions. To maintain thermal performance during extended use, the enclosure incorporates a MagLev cooling fan engineered for quiet operation. The unit requires an external power supply via the included AC adapter and is not powered by the USB bus. It offers plug-and-play functionality across a wide range of operating systems, including current versions of macOS and Windows.
