The D-Link DGS-3130-54S/SI is a 54-port, non-PoE, stackable managed Gigabit fiber switch for core or distribution roles. It operates at Layer 3, supporting IP routing, static routes, and RIP protocols. The device offers a switching capacity of 216 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 161 Mpps. Designed for fiber networks, it features four SFP/SFP+ uplink slots supporting 10 Gbit/s data transfer for high-speed connections to core servers.

The chassis measures 440 x 350 x 44 mm and fits standard 19-inch server racks. Cooling is provided by five internal fans, with an operating noise level of 54 dB. Administrators manage the unit via a web or command-line interface, secured by SSH-2 and SSL/TLS encryption. The switch supports up to 4,000 active VLANs and an access control list of 2,048 rules. Up to nine units can be physically stacked and managed as a single system. The device uses a standard AC input (max 131 W) and supports an optional redundant power supply.
