The Thermaltake A500 is a mid-tower chassis constructed with an aluminum front panel and a steel frame. It features two 4mm thick tempered glass side panels, offering a view of the internal components from both sides. The design incorporates a full-length power supply cover to conceal cables and the PSU, which contributes to an organized internal layout. Its dimensions and construction support standard ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboard installations.

For thermal management, the case comes equipped with three pre-installed 120mm fans, with two at the front for intake and one at the rear for exhaust. It offers extensive cooling flexibility, supporting up to a 420mm radiator in the front and a 360mm radiator at the top. The interior provides clearance for CPU coolers up to 160mm in height and features 10 expansion slots for component installation.
