The Cisco Catalyst 9200-48P-E 48-Port PoE+ Layer 3 managed switch serves as an access layer device for campus and branch networks. It features 48 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports to connect and power network endpoints. With a switching capacity of 176 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 130.95 Mpps, the unit supports high traffic volumes. Its Layer 3 capabilities enable efficient IP routing.
The rack-mountable chassis supports redundant power supplies to ensure continuous operation. A 740 W PoE+ power budget provides power directly to connected hardware, such as IP cameras and wireless access points. Administrators can manage the switch via a web interface, the command-line interface, or cloud platforms. The device supports traffic segmentation for up to 4,096 active VLANs, along with access control lists and Quality of Service (QoS) protocols. Its stackable architecture allows multiple physical units to operate as a single logical entity.
