The Fractal Design Prisma AL-12 is a 120mm fan engineered for both system airflow and addressable RGB illumination. Its lighting system utilizes six hub-mounted LEDs that project light through a white semi-opaque outer ring and custom fan blades. This design creates a uniform glow across the entire fan surface, avoiding isolated bright spots. The fan connects to standard 3-pin 5V ARGB headers for integration with compatible motherboard software and control systems.

Performance is managed via PWM, enabling an operational range from 500 to 2000 RPM based on system temperatures. At maximum speed, it produces an airflow of 85.71 CFM and a static pressure of 2.78 mmH2O, making it suitable for pushing air through restricted spaces like radiators and CPU heatsinks. The fan operates at noise levels between 14.8 dB and 32.7 dB. For durability and quiet operation, it is built with Long Life Sleeve bearings and has vibration-damping rubber corners.
