The Asus TUF GT501 is a midi-tower case constructed with a steel chassis and a 4 mm thick tempered glass side panel. It accommodates a wide range of motherboard form factors, from Mini-ITX up to E-ATX, providing a flexible foundation for various system builds. The design incorporates integrated dust filters to help maintain internal component cleanliness. For system assembly and maintenance, the case includes cable management provisions and an assortment of drive bays for storage configurations.

This case is engineered with substantial cooling capacity. It arrives with four pre-installed fans: three 120 mm RGB fans at the front and one 140 mm PWM fan at the rear. For liquid cooling systems, it supports radiators up to 360 mm in both the front and top positions, and up to a 140 mm radiator at the rear. The internal layout provides clearance for CPU coolers up to 180 mm in height and power supplies up to 240 mm in length, allowing for the installation of high-performance components.

The front I/O panel includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and standard audio connections. The case offers seven standard horizontal expansion slots plus two vertical slots for alternative graphics card mounting. Internal storage options consist of a drive cage that supports up to seven drives in combined 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch formats. An integrated controller allows for management of the included RGB lighting and fan speeds, with LED indicators on the exterior for power and drive activity.
