The Ubiquiti UniFi FlexHD is a dual-band wireless access point that uses the 802.11ac Wave 2 standard. It features 4x4 MU-MIMO technology and beamforming to manage multiple simultaneous client connections in various environments. The device achieves a maximum combined Wi-Fi speed of 2033 Mbit/s—up to 300 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band and 1733 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band. Intelligent mesh support allows the unit to integrate into existing wireless networks, while its internal antenna design maintains a compact profile.

A single Gigabit Ethernet port provides wired connectivity at 10, 100, or 1000 Mbit/s. The device is powered via 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE), which simplifies installation by removing the need for local power adapters. The weatherproof housing allows for mounting on ceilings, walls, poles, or tables, both indoors and outdoors. Security protocols include WEP, WPA-Enterprise, and WPA-PSK encryption, alongside a firewall and IP filtering.
