The ASTRO A40 TR is a wired, over-ear headset intended for competitive gaming and content creation. Its open-acoustic design is equipped with 40mm dynamic drivers tuned with ASTRO Audio V2 to produce a sound profile optimized for gaming environments. The primary connection is a standard 3.5mm audio jack, which provides compatibility across PC, Mac, and multiple gaming consoles. A PC splitter cable is included to support systems that utilize separate headphone and microphone inputs.

Designed for extended sessions, the headset weighs 369 grams and incorporates cloth ear cushions. The unidirectional boom microphone is engineered for voice isolation and can be detached or positioned on either the left or right earcup.
