It functions as part of a whole-home system utilizing Intelligent Mesh Technology, designed to facilitate automatic device roaming across a single network name (SSID). This unit supports a combined maximum wireless data rate of 1167 Mbit/s, featuring 300 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band. This single node can be integrated with additional Deco units to scale network coverage as required.
For physical connectivity, the unit includes one Ethernet port that supports 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet data rates, usable for either WAN input or LAN output.
