HUAWEI S6730-H48X6C - Managed Layer 3 Enterprise Switch

The Huawei S6730-H48X6C is a Layer 3 managed switch designed for data centre and campus networks. This non-PoE model features 48 10-Gigabit SFP+ ports for server connectivity, alongside six QSFP28 uplink ports. These uplink interfaces support 40 Gbit/s by default and can be upgraded to 100 Gbit/s via a software license. The switch has a total switching capacity of 2400 Gbit/s, which allows the hardware to handle concurrent traffic across all 54 fiber connections without bottlenecks.

Its 1U rack-mount chassis fits easily into dense server cabinets. Operational stability is maintained by two hot-swappable AC/DC power supplies and four cooling fans. Under typical conditions, the switch draws 165 W of power, reaching a maximum of 291 W at full load. Administrators can configure the unit via the RJ45 console port or the USB 2.0 interface. Furthermore, stacking capabilities allow multiple devices to function as a single logical entity, simplifying management.
