The Aruba Instant On 1930 8G Class4 PoE 2SFP 124W Switch (JL681A#ABB) is a Layer 2+ managed Ethernet switch designed to segment LAN traffic and provide direct power to connected devices. It features 8 Gigabit RJ-45 ports and 2 SFP slots for fiber uplinks to core network infrastructure. The switch offers a total switching capacity of 20 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 14.8 Mpps, allowing it to handle data streams from multiple endpoints—such as access points and surveillance hardware—without creating network bottlenecks.

Housed in a white 1U chassis, the device can be mounted in standard 19-inch equipment racks. A total Power over Ethernet budget of 124 W is distributed across the eight primary ports, removing the need for separate power adapters for Class 4 PoE devices.
