The Aruba Instant On 1930 24G 4SFP/SFP+ Managed Switch is a Layer 2+ device designed to segment and manage traffic across local area networks. It features 24 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports for standard network hardware and four dedicated SFP slots with 10G support for high-speed uplinks. This configuration provides a total switching capacity of 128 Gbit/s for data transfers across connected endpoints. As a non-PoE model, it performs data routing at a forwarding rate of 95.23 Mpps, capable of handling high network loads without creating bottlenecks at the core or edge.

The unit has a standard 1U form factor for installation in a network rack. A web-based interface provides access to network protocols, including spanning tree, link aggregation, and IGMP snooping. Quality of Service (QoS) support allows for traffic prioritization, while up to 256 active VLANs enable departmental segmentation. The switch has a maximum power consumption of 22.6 W under full load. Internally, an 800 MHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor and 512 MB of SDRAM support operation during peak traffic.
