The Corsair 4000D is a mid-tower ATX case constructed from a combination of steel, plastic, and tempered glass. Its design features a solid front panel engineered for directed airflow and a full-view tempered glass side panel that provides an unobstructed view of internal components. The chassis offers a structured internal layout intended to simplify the building process and support a wide range of hardware configurations. Removable dust filters are located at the top, front, and PSU intake to facilitate system maintenance and protect components from particulate buildup.

This case supports extensive cooling configurations, with mounting locations for radiators up to 360mm in the front, 280mm on top, and 120mm in the rear. It arrives with two pre-installed 120mm fans, one front and one rear, to establish an initial airflow path through the chassis.
