The Cisco Catalyst 9120AXP-EWC-E Wireless Access Point (Embedded Wireless Controller) provides indoor Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) connectivity for enterprise environments. An integrated controller allows administrators to manage centralised networks without the need for a separate hardware appliance. The device supports a maximum data transfer rate of 5.4 Gbit/s to handle dense multi-user traffic. It uses a single 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 port for its uplink and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing it to draw power directly through the network cable to reduce cabling requirements.

The internal hardware includes 2048 MB of system memory and 1024 MB of flash storage for configuration management. The white indoor chassis weighs 1360 g and features integrated status LEDs to indicate operating conditions and boot loader warnings.
