The TP-Link Omada EAP660 HD is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 access point built for high-density environments. It operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, delivering a combined wireless throughput of 3600 Mbit/s. It supports data rates of up to 1148 Mbit/s at 2.4 GHz and 2402 Mbit/s at 5 GHz. MU-MIMO and beamforming technologies maintain stable client connections by optimising signal distribution. The hardware supports up to 1020 devices across a maximum coverage area of 200 m².

Wired connectivity is provided by a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port for high-speed uplinks. The unit is powered via PoE+ (802.3at), which removes the need for a local power outlet. Security protocols include WPA3-Enterprise and WPA3-PSK, alongside support for tagged VLANs and guest access. Management is handled through a web interface, and the device includes Quality of Service (QoS) for traffic prioritisation. The housing allows for ceiling or wall mounting to suit various commercial layouts.
