The Cooler Master MasterBox Q500L is a compact Midi Tower case designed to support standard ATX motherboards within a reduced physical footprint. It offers compatibility with ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX form factors, providing a flexible foundation for various system configurations. The chassis is constructed from steel and plastic and includes a transparent side panel for viewing internal components. Its exterior panels are perforated to permit airflow from multiple fan and radiator mounting positions.

The internal layout is designed for versatility, featuring a repositionable ATX power supply bracket. This case provides clearance for CPU coolers up to 160 mm in height and has seven expansion slots for graphics cards and other peripherals. For storage, it includes a combo cage that supports both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch drives. The front I/O panel is located on the side and can be moved to different positions to suit user accessibility requirements.

Cooling is managed through extensive mounting options for both air and liquid solutions. The case supports 120mm and 240mm radiators on the top and front panels, with an additional 120mm mount at the rear. A single 120mm fan is pre-installed as a rear exhaust. To simplify maintenance, the chassis is equipped with magnetic dust filters on the top, front, and bottom panels, which can be removed for cleaning.
