The Cooler Master MasterBox MB520 ARGB is a mid-tower case designed for ATX-based systems, with additional support extending to E-ATX and SSI CEB motherboards. Its construction combines a steel frame with a plastic front panel and a 4mm-thick tempered glass side panel for a complete view of internal components. The front panel incorporates large mesh intakes on its sides to facilitate airflow to the three pre-installed 120mm addressable RGB fans. Lighting can be managed via a compatible motherboard or the integrated ARGB controller.

The chassis provides versatile cooling options for high-performance configurations, supporting up to a 360mm radiator in both the front and top positions for liquid cooling. For air cooling, the case accommodates a total of seven fans and allows for CPU coolers up to 165mm in height. The interior layout includes a bottom-mounted power supply shroud, which supports PSUs up to 180mm in length. A configurable drive cage holds two 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives, with dedicated mounting points for additional solid-state drives.
