The Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Lite 16 PoE (USW-Lite-16-POE) is a Layer 2 managed Ethernet switch designed for network segmentation and device integration. It features 16 Gigabit RJ45 ports for connecting network clients. A 16 Gbit/s switching capacity ensures consistent performance across all ports. As a managed switch, it provides administrators with more control over local traffic than unmanaged alternatives. This configuration is suitable for small deployments that require reliable, straightforward routing.

Beyond data switching, the unit includes hardware to simplify infrastructure cabling. Half of the ports support Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at). Each of these eight interfaces can deliver up to 30 W, supporting high-draw devices such as security cameras or wireless access points. Power is supplied via an internal unit connected to a standard AC input. The white exterior allows the device to blend into workspaces without needing a dedicated server closet.
