The CORSAIR K100 RGB is a wired mechanical keyboard designed for competitive gaming applications. It is equipped with CHERRY MX SPEED Silver keyswitches, which feature a linear travel and a 1.2 mm actuation point for rapid input registration. The keyboard's AXON Hyper-Processing Technology supports a native 8000 Hz polling rate, intended to reduce input latency. Full N-key rollover with anti-ghosting is implemented to ensure all simultaneous key presses are registered correctly during use.

The keyboard is constructed with a brushed aluminum top plate for structural rigidity and is fitted with PBT double-shot keycaps for improved durability against wear. Its extended layout includes six dedicated macro keys, programmable through software, in addition to dedicated multimedia controls. The RGB illumination is configurable on a per-key basis and is supplemented by a 44-zone LightEdge. For ergonomic support, a detachable, magnetic wrist rest with memory foam cushioning is included with the device.
