The Huawei FreeBuds Pro are true wireless earbuds featuring 11 mm dynamic drivers designed to deliver consistent audio performance. Connectivity is handled by a Kirin A1 chipset and Bluetooth 5.2, which supports a stable connection and allows for simultaneous pairing with two separate devices. The in-ear design is intended to provide passive noise isolation, and the inclusion of three sizes of silicone ear tips allows the user to select a secure fit for their ear canal.

This model incorporates an Intelligent Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation system that adapts to the user's environment, rated to reduce ambient sound by up to 40 dB. For voice calls, a three-microphone array with noise-cancelling technology is used to isolate the speaker's voice from background noise. The earbuds provide up to 7 hours of playback on a single charge, with the total extended to 30 hours via the charging case. The system supports fast charging through its USB-C port, and the earbuds are rated IPX4 for resistance to sweat and light water splashes.
