The Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact is a mid-tower case designed to accommodate ATX-based systems within a space-efficient footprint. Its construction consists of a steel frame and a bolt-free, flush-mounted tempered glass side panel that provides a clear view of internal components. The design prioritizes ease of access, featuring a fully removable top panel that allows for unobstructed installation of motherboards and cooling hardware. This chassis provides the capacity for high-performance components while maintaining a reduced physical volume compared to larger ATX enclosures.

The internal layout is optimized for airflow, facilitated by three pre-installed Dynamic X2 fans: two 140 mm units at the front intake and one 120 mm fan for rear exhaust. The case supports extensive cooling configurations, with mounts for up to seven 120 mm or four 140 mm fans in total. For liquid cooling systems, it accommodates radiators up to 360 mm in the front, 240 mm at the top, and 120 mm in the rear. Removable dust filters are located on the front, top, and bottom panels to simplify maintenance and protect components from particle buildup.
