QNAP QSW-M2108R-2C - Switch, Black

The QNAP QSW-M2108R-2C is a web-managed Layer 2 switch designed for network bandwidth upgrades and centralized control. It features eight 2.5GbE RJ-45 ports and two 10GbE combo ports (SFP+ or RJ-45) for high-speed uplinks. The switch provides a total switching capacity of 80 Gbit/s and supports 10G connections to core routers and network-attached storage. As a managed device, it allows administrators to segment traffic directly over the local area network.

The half-width rackmount chassis fits into standard server cabinets. The switch includes Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality to power compatible hardware through data cables. It offers web-based management, allowing IT personnel to configure settings via a browser or an RJ-45 console port. Security and optimization features include Access Control Lists (ACLs), virtual LANs, and Quality of Service (QoS) traffic prioritization. IGMP snooping handles multicast data to prevent packet flooding on crowded subnets. The actively cooled unit uses a single fan and consumes a maximum of 60 W.
