The Samsung PM1643a is an enterprise-class solid-state drive specifically engineered for demanding server and high-availability storage environments. It utilizes the SAS 12Gb/s interface standard, optimized for high bandwidth and predictable performance in mission-critical infrastructure. This 15.36TB 2.5-inch model achieves sequential data reading speeds up to 2100 MB/s and sequential writing speeds up to 1800 MB/s.

Constructed using 3D TLC V-NAND technology, the PM1643a is rated for high endurance, supporting a workload of three drive writes per day (DWPD) over its lifespan. Data integrity is maintained through built-in end-to-end data protection, ECC, and hardware encryption support. The drive features Enhanced Power Loss Data Protection technology designed to safeguard cached data during unexpected power interruptions.
