The Cisco CBS220-24T-4G-EU is a Layer 2 managed smart switch featuring 24 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports and four dedicated SFP uplink slots for corporate networks. It offers a total switching capacity of 56 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 41.66 Mpps, ensuring consistent performance even under heavy workloads.

This 1U, non-PoE model is designed for standard rack mounting. Administrators can manage the switch via a web-based interface or use protocols such as SNMP, Telnet, and TFTP. Security features include IEEE 802.1x authentication, RADIUS integration, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and MAC address filtering. Additionally, eight hardware queues per port use Weighted Round Robin (WRR) scheduling to prioritise time-sensitive Quality of Service (QoS) traffic.
