The Thermaltake TOUGHAIR 110 is a top-flow CPU air cooler engineered for effective heat transfer, particularly where restricted case dimensions necessitate a lower profile solution. Heat energy is drawn from the processor via a copper base plate and transferred through four copper heat pipes, each measuring 6 mm in diameter. These pipes distribute heat into a densely packed aluminum fin stack for rapid dissipation. The horizontal design directs airflow onto surrounding motherboard components, providing supplemental cooling to memory and VRMs.

Thermal performance is managed by a single 120 mm fan utilizing a 4-pin PWM connector for dynamic speed control. The operational range spans from 500 RPM to 2000 RPM, achieving a maximum airflow volume of 58.35 CFM and a static pressure rating of 2.41 mmH₂O. Maximum noise output is limited to 23.6 dB under full load conditions, contributing to acceptable acoustic performance.
