The Aruba Instant On 1960 12XGT 4SFP is a Layer 2+ managed switch for high-bandwidth networks. This non-PoE model features 12 RJ-45 10G Ethernet ports for connections to servers and workstations, along with four dedicated 10G SFP slots for fiber uplinks to core network infrastructure. Its 320 Gbit/s switching capacity handles traffic across all ports simultaneously. The switch maintains a maximum forwarding rate of 238 Mpps during tasks such as virtualization or file transfers.

The 1U chassis fits into standard 19-inch equipment racks. Administrators can configure and monitor the system via a local web interface or a remote cloud portal. Network segmentation and traffic control are managed through Access Control Lists (ACLs), Quality of Service (QoS) prioritization, and VLAN support. Up to four units can be stacked to operate as a single logical switch. Under maximum load, internal components consume up to 160 W.
