The HPE Aruba Instant On 1960 24G 2XT 2XF is a Layer 2+ managed switch designed for network aggregation and enterprise hardware connectivity. It features 24 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports for high-density connections and 10G support for upstream routing. With a switching capacity of 128 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 95 Mpps, the unit handles high-bandwidth traffic for multiple clients. As a non-PoE model, attached endpoints such as security cameras or wireless access points require independent power sources.

Housed in a standard 1U chassis, the switch is suitable for rack mounting in server cabinets. Administrators can configure and monitor the hardware via a local web interface or a cloud portal. Traffic management is handled through integrated VLAN support, Access Control Lists (ACL), and Quality of Service (QoS) protocols. Up to four units can be stacked to centralise control across larger deployments. The fanless design ensures silent operation, and the unit draws a maximum of 80 W under full load.
