Makita BO5031 300 W 125 mm Random Orbit Sander is designed for general surface preparation, smoothing and finishing. Its random-orbit action suits routine woodworking, decorating and trade applications. The AC-powered design allows continuous operation without battery changes or charging. A 300 W input rating supports material removal and finishing across general sanding tasks. The oscillation rate adjusts from 4,000 to 12,000 OPM, so the sanding action can be matched to the surface and the required finish.

An integrated dust-extraction port directs debris into the included dust bag, helping to limit loose dust around the work area. The round 125 mm sanding plate accepts matching abrasive discs. Velcro hook-and-loop fixing allows the supplied sandpaper to be removed and replaced without clamps. At 1,300 g, the random orbit sander is light enough for controlled use during longer jobs. Its soft-grip, ergonomically shaped body provides a secure contact surface for guiding the tool.
