HPE Aruba Instant On 1830 24G - Switch

The HPE Aruba Instant On 1830 24G 12p Class4 PoE 2SFP 195W Switch (JL813A#ABB) is a Layer 2 smart-managed switch for network segmentation and endpoint connectivity. It features 24 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports and two SFP slots for fiber uplinks. The unit provides a switching capacity of 52 Gbit/s. Twelve of the copper ports support Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+), enabling power and data delivery to compatible access points or IP cameras via a single cable. The forwarding rate is 38.68 Mpps.

The 1U chassis includes hardware for 19-inch rack mounting. The 195 W total PoE budget supports multiple high-draw devices. Administrators can configure the switch through a local web-based interface or a cloud management portal. It supports protocols such as VLANs, IGMP snooping, and spanning tree for traffic management and network security. Built-in features also include loop prevention and Quality of Service (QoS) controls.
