The Fractal Design Torrent Compact is a midi-tower case engineered for high-airflow configurations. Its design features an unobstructed front grille paired with two pre-installed 180 mm PWM fans to maximize cool air intake. A distinctive top-mounted power supply shroud frees up the case's base, allowing for an unobstructed bottom-to-top airflow path. This layout is specifically intended to provide direct cooling to high-performance components, particularly the graphics card, by utilizing the expansive bottom intakes.

Internally, the chassis accommodates a range of motherboard form factors, from Mini-ITX up to E-ATX boards with a width of 274 mm. It provides clearance for CPU coolers up to 174 mm in height and standard ATX power supplies up to 210 mm in length. For storage, it includes one 3.5-inch drive mount and three dedicated 2.5-inch drive mounts. The case incorporates integrated cable management features, including routing guides and tie-down points, to facilitate an organized build.
