The Fractal Design Torrent Nano is a Mini Tower case engineered for high-airflow performance in a compact form factor. It is constructed to support Mini-ITX and Mini-DTX motherboards, with a layout optimized for thermal efficiency. The design incorporates an open front grille and a large, pre-installed 180 mm fan to facilitate substantial air intake. This approach provides direct cooling to critical components, with an unobstructed path from the front of the chassis to the system's interior.

This case accommodates standard ATX power supplies up to 200 mm in length, which are positioned at the top to prevent interference with the main airflow channel. For storage, the interior provides mounts for one 3.5" hard drive and two 2.5" solid-state drives. The chassis includes three expansion slots and offers flexible cooling options, with support for radiators up to 280 mm at the bottom and 240 mm at the front. System maintenance is addressed with removable dust filters and integrated cable management features.
