This MicroConnect CAT6a patch cable is optimized for high-density networking environments requiring both performance and spatial efficiency. Rated for operation at 500 MHz, the cable supports data transfer speeds up to 10 Gbit/s, meeting current requirements for enterprise-level or high-bandwidth residential networks. The U/UTP unshielded architecture, coupled with stranded copper conductors, provides necessary flexibility for routing while maintaining signal integrity across the 1.5-meter run. It remains fully compatible with existing CAT6, CAT5e, and CAT5 network infrastructure.

The defining physical characteristic is the slim 3.6 mm outer diameter, achieved by utilizing 28 AWG wiring. This reduced profile facilitates deployment in constricted areas, such as behind rack panels or within cable trays where space is limited. The cable jacket is constructed from Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) material, a design choice intended to minimize the output of toxic fumes in case of exposure to high heat. Furthermore, the cable supports the delivery of high-level power via Power over Ethernet Plus Plus (PoE++).
