How it Works
The SonicWALL SSL VPN on UTM solution utilizes the SonicWALL NetExtender software in combination with a SonicWALL UTM appliance. The remote user only needs to have an internet connection and they can access their network through the SonicWALL portal from any web browser. A small (thin client) Active-X component is installed on the remote users system and connectivity is provided according to policies defined on the SonicWALL UTM device. All remote network traffic is processed by SonicWALL’s patented Re-assembly Free Deep Packet Inspection engine and other services on the SonicWALL UTM appliance to ensure the utmost in network protection.
