The Sharp HT-SB147 is a 2.0 channel soundbar that provides a total maximum power output of 150 watts. It is designed to function as a direct audio enhancement for televisions 40 inches or larger. The primary connection is an HDMI port that supports Audio Return Channel (ARC) and Consumer Electronics Control (CEC), enabling volume and power control through a compatible TV remote. This model operates as a self-contained stereo system without a separate external subwoofer, offering a straightforward setup.

In addition to its wired capabilities, the soundbar supports wireless audio streaming from compatible devices via Bluetooth 4.2. Physical inputs include a digital optical port, an AUX port, and a USB port for direct playback of MP3 and WAV audio files. The 920 mm wide unit features a matte black finish and a metal front grille. It can be positioned on a flat surface or secured to a wall using the included mounting kit.
