The Cisco Nexus N9K-C93180YC-FX3 is a Layer 2 and Layer 3 rack-mount switch designed for enterprise network segmentation and traffic distribution. This model features 48 RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired connectivity. All 48 ports support Power over Ethernet (PoE), providing data and power to connected hardware such as IP cameras and access points. With a switching capacity of 256 Gbit/s, the hardware handles high-volume traffic in demanding corporate environments.

Designed for standard equipment racks, the chassis has a 44 mm height profile. The switch supports up to 4,000 active VLANs for traffic segmentation. Quality of Service (QoS) and Access Control Lists (ACLs) are integrated to prioritise critical data streams and restrict unauthorised access. Supported routing protocols—including EIGRP, HSRP, OSPF, and RIP-2—enable complex internal network topologies without an external router.
