The Sony VPL-XW5000/W is a standard-throw projector designed for home cinemas. It uses a 3LCD projection system to deliver a native 4K UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. With a brightness of up to 2000 ANSI lumens, the projector maintains good contrast and detail in controlled indoor viewing environments. It supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) for a wider colour and contrast spectrum. Its native 16:9 aspect ratio is suited to standard film and television content.

Installation and alignment are managed via manual focus and a 1.6x manual zoom lens.
