What is a GPS tracker?
A GPS tracker is a device that "detects" its position using satellite communication - it sends its position to you, so you can track what you have mounted the device on. It can be used for cars, boats, motorcycles, industrial equipment and much more.

The Cobblestone GPS tracker is a standalone tracking device. This means that the device works independently with the settings that the user has given it. For example, if the user has set the device to "24 hours", it will send a position every 24 hours until it receives new instructions. The advantage of this is that the unit continues to do as instructed without having to be told again and again.

Cobblestone comes with five different standard tracking profiles:

1. Constant The unit sends a position every 10 minutes.
2. Live Tracking The unit sends a position when it is moved, every 15 minutes during movement and 15 minutes after the last movement.
3. After Moving The unit sends a position one hour after the last move.
4. 24 hours The unit sends one position once a day.
5. 7 days The unit sends one position a week.

Activation
Activating a Cobblestone takes less than a minute. The device ID is entered via the app or the web. The unit is then given a name and a default profile is selected. Thereafter, the unit should be shaken vigorously for 8 seconds before it is finished.
