The D-Link DGS-1100-08PV2/E 8-Port Gigabit PoE Smart Managed Switch is a compact hub designed for small and medium-sized networks. This Layer 2/3 managed switch features eight Gigabit RJ-45 ports for high-speed wired connectivity. Its 16 Gbit/s switching capacity prevents bottlenecks during heavy traffic, allowing administrators to segment corporate networks or support localized hardware clusters.

The desktop-format chassis provides Power over Ethernet (PoE) across all ports. With a total PoE budget of 64 W, individual ports can supply up to 30 W to power devices such as wireless access points or IP cameras. Configuration and monitoring are managed via a dedicated web interface. The switch supports up to 4,094 active VLANs—including port-based, tagged, and voice configurations—to isolate traffic securely.
