The D-Link DGS-1210-10P/E 10-Port Layer 2 Gigabit Smart Managed PoE switch provides both data connectivity and power for network endpoints. It features eight Gigabit RJ-45 ports and a total switching capacity of 20 Gbit/s. To maintain performance under heavy load, the switch supports a forwarding rate of 14.88 Mpps. Two dedicated SFP slots allow for fiber optic uplinks without consuming standard copper ports. The device also includes static routing to assist with internal data handling beyond basic Layer 2 operations.

The unit is housed in a black 1U chassis designed for standard rack mounting. Management is performed via a web-based interface. Administrators can use access control lists (ACLs), MAC address filtering, and VLAN segmentation to secure the network.
