The Zyxel XGS2220-30 L3 Managed Access Switch provides local network switching and basic routing for enterprise environments. This Layer 3 model features 24 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports for connecting office devices, such as desktop computers, printers, and IP phones. This non-PoE unit has a total switching capacity of 168 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 125 Mpps. Integrated 10G ports allow for high-speed uplinks to core server infrastructure.

The chassis is designed for standard rack mounting to fit into existing data cabinets. Administrators can configure network settings via a local web interface or through NebulaFlex Pro for centralized cloud management. The switch handles traffic across subnets using built-in IP routing and DHCP relay functionality. Network stability is supported by Quality of Service (QoS) protocols, BPDU protection, and ARP inspection. Multicast traffic is managed through IGMP snooping and MLD v1/v2 listener discovery, which help prevent unnecessary bandwidth consumption during media broadcasting.
