The NZXT H9 Flow is a mid-tower case featuring a dual-chamber layout that isolates the power supply and storage drives from the main heat-generating components. This design is intended to improve thermal performance and simplify cable management. The chassis is constructed from steel and includes wraparound tempered glass panels on the front and side, providing an unobstructed view of the internal hardware. Airflow is a primary focus, with perforated top and side panels designed to facilitate cooling for high-performance systems. The case also includes dust filters at all intake points to reduce internal dust accumulation.

This case accommodates ATX motherboards and offers extensive cooling support. It has mounts for up to ten fans and can house radiators as large as 420mm in the front and top, and up to 360mm at the bottom. The interior provides clearance for CPU coolers up to 165mm in height and power supplies up to 200mm in length. For storage, the case includes dedicated bays for two 3.5-inch drives and up to six 2.5-inch drives. The front I/O panel is equipped with two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB-C port, and a combination audio jack for streamlined connectivity.
