The HPE Aruba Networking CX 6200M 36G 12SR5 Class 6 PoE 4SFP+ switch is a Layer 3 managed Ethernet switch for enterprise campus and branch access networks. It features 36 Gigabit Base-T ports and 12 multi-gigabit (1/2.5/5GBase-T) ports. With a total switching capacity of 272 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 130.9 Mpps, the switch handles traffic across connected endpoints. This bandwidth supports heavy localized traffic and VLAN-based segmentation. Four dedicated 10G SFP+ slots provide fiber uplinks to core network infrastructure.

The 1U chassis fits standard 19-inch racks and includes dual power supply units for redundancy. The switch provides a 1440 W total Power over Ethernet (PoE) budget, with up to 60 W available per port (Class 6). Management interfaces include a web GUI, command-line interface, REST APIs, and centralized cloud-based control. Up to eight units can be stacked to operate as a single logical switch. The system uses a quad-core ARM Cortex-A72 processor and 8 GB of DDR4 memory for Layer 3 routing protocols, such as OSPF and ECMP, and active access control lists.
