The MEATER Plus (RT2-MT-MP01) is a wireless meat thermometer designed for monitoring cooking progress in ovens, grills, and smokers. The probe uses a dual-sensor system to measure both internal food temperature and ambient heat simultaneously. With an accuracy of ±0.5°C, it provides precise temperature tracking. The internal sensor measures between 0°C and 100°C, allowing users to monitor the core temperature of the meat via a paired device. This approach avoids the need to open the cooking chamber, helping to keep heat levels stable during long cooking sessions.

The stainless steel and ceramic probe is built to withstand high temperatures in both indoor and outdoor environments. It connects to mobile devices via Bluetooth 4.0 with a range of up to 50 metres. For extended monitoring, the thermometer integrates with the MEATER app and supports Wi-Fi connectivity through cloud services. The system runs on a single AAA battery, which is included and lasts for approximately 24 hours of continuous use. When not in use, the probe is stored in a wooden base that features an integrated indicator light. The probe is water-resistant, making it straightforward to clean.
